HISTORY

The building is a grade II listed, 18th century, Georgian town house of Historical interest. It was the birthplace in 1839 of William De Morgan the famous potter and novelist.

ACCOMMODATION

The 17 bedrooms, which have recently been refurbished, have central heating,
colour television, tea and coffee making facilities, some with shower only.
Family rooms are available accommodating up to 4 people. The rooms have a
peaceful atmosphere and are clean and comfortable.

LOCATION

The hotel is very central, within a short stroll of Oxford Street, Covent
Garden, The British Museum, Soho, Theatreland, London University etc. Also
close by is The National Gallery&Regents Park with London Zoo. There are
many other Museums&Art Galleries nearby and within a short bus ride are
Sotheby's and Christies the famous auctioneers, also Portobello Road and
Camden Passage for those interested in Antiques and Fine Art.
